Hello and an official happy summer!
I'm well into my season now and this past weekend raced the Arduum course in Mission at the most recent BC Cup race. It was a very technical gnarly course and made for quite the thrilling weekend! I had an awesome time - the race was very well organized and supported by many companies including RaceFace and CCN, and to top it all off I love riding that technical rooty of the day I managed to take first place by a 36 second lead so left with a huge smile on my face!
My next race is not for a couple of weeks but in the meantime I will be doing some filming with the Rocky Mountain Sherpas. They are making a short film for HealthMatch BC and since I am a Registered Nurse with a bit of a unique lifestyle riding/racing bikes they wanted to showcase how well the two can mesh living here in beautiful BC. That said I will be filmed both on and off the bike and hope to have some footage to share by the end of August.
