Tuesday, June 28, 2011 - Outdoor Gear Canada (OGC), Canada's premier supplier of premium cycling brands, is expanding its Montréal warehouse with a 36,000 square feet addition scheduled for completion later this summer.
"We've been operating at or above full capacity for the past year and have been renting satellite warehouses for several months now," said Jean Cloutier, OGC's Vice-President, Operations & Finance.
"Even with the cool, wet weather we've experienced this Spring throughout much of the country, our year-to-date sales have increased approximately 7.5%," said Mr Cloutier. "We need the additional space as soon as possible."
OGC's head office and warehouse are LEED (silver) - certified. The additional space will be built to the same LEED criteria used in the construction of the main facility five years ago.
Founded in 1978, OGC is the exclusive Canadian parts and accessories distributor for Easton Bell Sports (Bell, Blackburn, Easton, Giro), Camelbak, Finish Line, Fox Racing Shox, Kryptonite, Mavic, Profile, Speedplay, Thule and Vittoria. They also distribute BMC, Intense and Opus bicycles.
