Mavic - April news

April 2011

Exalith wheels now available in shops
It looks purely cosmetic, but Exalith is structural, adding both visual appeal and durability

In 2011, the rims of 4 wheel models (Cosmic Carbone SLR, Comète road, R-Sys SLR, Ksyrium SLR) have received a special treatment. More than just a stealthy grey appearance, Exalith provides added durability and a lighter rim. The treatment deeply penetrates the aluminum, reinforcing it against fatigue and brake track wear. This added reinforcement allows  some weight and inertia reduction, resulting in even more responsiveness, plus incredibly accurate braking performance.
