Team SpiderTech - Insider News from Steve

Racing Resumes!

The Tour of Utah begins tomorrow.  Billed as‘America’s Toughest Stage Race’, it covers 658 km with nearly 9100 metres of climbing over 6 days of racing.  The team brings many cards to play, including climbers Pat McCarty and Lucas Euser, and experienced all-rounders Bruno Langlois and Francois Parisien.  Watch for altitude-ready Flavio De Luna to be a young rider contender. Andrew Randell, Simon Lambert-Lemay and Ryan Roth round out the roster.  Live web casting will be available via the official event web site.
Last weekend, the Sparkassen Giro marked Guillaume Boivin’s return to racing. Although not the best day for the Spiders, with crashes taking their toll, the guys rode well against a ProTour-laden field.
